In my last post I pulled together a simple visual summarising the cultural aspects that help an organisation realise value from their project portfolio. In order to help you understand if you have these I though it would be useful to share a very simple tool you can use to assess your organisations culture and capabilities based on seven key dimensions.
Score each on a scale of 0-5 where 5 means you answered Yes to all the questions listed in the callout box, and 0 if you answered No to all of them. This should help you uncover what your strengths are, where there are skills or capability gaps that need to be filled, whether there are changes needed in your approach or perhaps cultural challenges that need shifting in order to help you to improve your project portfolio value realisation.
